CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
1. Academic Content Management
- Coordinate the process for the development of all academic content.
- Ensure all online academic resources are uploaded, accessible, and updated on the Learner Management System (LMS).
- Maintain, quality assure, and track changes of academic resources on the Learner Management System (LMS) or applicable documentation.
2. Student Support and Engagement
- Coordinate the academic support process for students through the various student support channels.
- Monitor and report on “At Risk” students, assist with intervention plans, and offer personalized support where needed.
- Facilitate student engagement activities, academic support webinars, and coordinate student orientation.
- Assist with the Online Summative Assessment (OSA) support when required.
3. Administrative Duties
- Manage academic delivery tasks by coordinating lecture plans and school meetings, while also creating and maintaining trackers for school specific data.
- Coordinate the credit applications transfer request process between the Admission and Selections department and the school.
- Support APLs , Academics and the school manager in planning and organising programme-related activities.
4. Quality Assurance and Reporting
- Quality assures academic content and maintains academic content quality assurance documents.
- Prepare quality reports and recommendations to enhance academic service and content delivery.
- Monitor and resolve escalated queries as per the SLA.
5. Institutional Activities
- Collaborate with APLs, Academics and the School Manager to organize academic related events for the school.
- Assist in programme review cycles and benchmarking exercises.
Minimum requirements
Essential Qualification: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree
Essential Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in Learner Management System administration/coordination and academic administrative background
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrate academic acumen and relevant administration functions in the education spectrum.
- Knowledge of academic delivery processes i.e. webinars.
- Strong organizational, planning, and attention to detail.
- Ability to implement processes and procedures for projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of working with visual and auditory input.
Special Conditions:
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
