Job description

Core Purpose:

  • To provide coordination and support to the Curriculum Development and Management Department by assisting with the various processes associated with new programme development, professional body accreditation and responses to regulatory bodies within the Department to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.
 
Core Functions:

Coordination

  • Coordinate new programme development 
  • Assist with the compilation of documentation for new programme development and professional body accreditation submissions
  • Respond to conditions from the regulators
  • Assist with the compilation of narratives for representations and conditions to the regulators
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of site visits and Institutional audits
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance for matters related to curriculum
  • Update and maintain the tracker for new programme development and professional body accreditation submissions
  • Source new programme developers, reviewers and industry experts
  • Coordinate the administration of Professional Body Accreditation applications
  • Liaise with internal and external academics and departments
  • Convene and participate in meetings for New Programme Development and Professional Body Accreditation
  • Attend to ad hoc office duties

  • Adhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasks
  • Assist and attend institution functions as and when required
  • Fulfil any other reasonable request from Management

Minimum requirements


Qualifications

  • Minimum Honours Degree
 
Experience

  • At least 1-2 year’s higher education work experience.
  • Understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance, viz. CHE, SAQA and DHET

  • Computer Literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
