Job description

Core Purpose
 
To provide support and assistance to the Programme Quality Management Department by assisting with the various processes and administration within the department to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.
 
 
Core Functions
  • Coordinate Programme Quality reviews for programmes in line with regulatory requirements and the Institution’s vision and mission.
  • Development of forms, templates, and guideline documents.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is filed timeously.
  • Maintain tracking reports for Programme Quality Management processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Programme Quality Management Department.

 

Meetings

  • Maintain meeting schedules, book meeting venues and inform the relevant stakeholders regarding attendance.
  • Attend and execute minute taking for Programme Quality Management meetings and other meetings as and when required.
 
Regulatory Bodies
  • Prepare for and ensure attendance at any site visits relating to the academic programmes.
  • Participate in any regulatory body activity.
  • Ensure Compliance to regulatory standards.

General
  • Adhere to and perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasks.
  • Assist and attend institutional functions as and when required.
 
Professional Development
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by independently studying to upgrade knowledge in field of expertise.
  • Actively participate in staff development initiatives offered by the institution.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications

  • Essential Qualification: Degree or studying towards a degree.
  • Preferred Qualification: Honours.

 

 

Experience

  • Essential experience: At least 1-2 year(s) relevant higher education work experience.
  • Preferred experience At least 1-2 year(s) higher education work experience, and understanding of regulatory compliance.
