Job description

The Finance Compliance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers are accurately and efficiently onboarded in line with company policies, and that all travel requests are properly reviewed, verified, and processed in compliance with organizational procedures. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in supplier onboarding and travel management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supplier onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation, compliance checks, and approvals are completed.
  • Maintain and update the supplier database with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to verify supplier details and compliance requirements.
  • Review and verify staff travel requests to ensure they align with the approved travel policy and procedures.
  • Confirm that all required travel documentation is complete and submitted within timelines.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing information in travel requests.
  • Monitor and track travel expenditure to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with budgetary controls.
  • Provide support in audits and reporting relating to supplier onboarding and travel management.
  • Assist in improving processes and controls to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.

Minimum requirements

·       Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (advantageous).

·       Previous experience in supplier onboarding, compliance, procurement, or travel administration.

·       Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and administrative skills.

·       Knowledge of compliance requirements and internal control processes.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·       Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
