Digital Quality Assurance Management System
- Monitor the implementation of the Digital Quality Management System.
- Conducting training tor staff regarding the DQMS and the relevant expectations.
- Monitoring the implantation of the academic and operational calendar and adherence to deadlines.
- Monitoring committee activities and implementation of resolutions.
- Ensuring that correct and current documents are maintained on the DQMS.
- Facilitate the submission of quality documents required from departments.
- Monitoring the implementation of planned quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate the cascading of DQMS to all departments.
Institutional Quality Assurance Framework
· Implement the institutional quality assurance framework across academic and support units in line with governance and regulatory requirements.
· Convert framework requirements into practical procedures, templates, tools, and implementation schedules.
· Embed the Planning–Implementation–Review–Improvement cycle within routine institutional operations.
· Coordinate and support institution-wide self-evaluations and the consolidation of evidence and reports.
· Conduct quality reviews of academic and administrative areas to determine effectiveness and compliance.
· Facilitate the development of quality enhancement and improvement plans arising from reviews and audits.
· Track progress against action plans, confirm milestone achievement, and escalate risks where necessary.
· Strengthen evidence-based decision-making through the use of data, KPIs, and performance analysis.
· Analyse findings and present actionable insights to committees and senior leadership.
· Support departments to maintain alignment with policies, procedures, and national quality standards.
Perform Academic Functions in the following elements.
· Demonstrable experience in developing frameworks, plans and implementing systems and tools to support quality activities.
· Develop and disseminate quality assurance tools and processes that are fit for purpose.
· Demonstrable experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders for data collection, data verification, reporting, and dissemination.
· Demonstrable experience in data analysis, data visualisation and report writing.
· Oversight of the quality lifecycle of measurement instruments, including surveys and questionnaires, to ensure reliability, validity, and continuous enhancement.
· Systematic tracking and reporting of performance against approved implementation schedules, milestones, and deliverables
· Knowledge of assessment strategy formulation, including the application of Taxonomy of Educational Objectives and related scholarly frameworks.
· Conceptual and practical understanding of contemporary principles of teaching and learning.
Minimum requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience in the higher education sector in the area of quality assurance
· Knowledge of Higher Education reporting systems
· Advanced working knowledge of technology tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Ability to understand policies, procedures and rules across the institution
