Job description
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Compile and manage tracking documents for all Curriculum Department processes
- Maintain all administration processes for New Programme Development and Short Learning Programmes, such as ensuring via the administration process that new programme and professional body submissions are complete and available as per the stipulated deadlines, reviewing narratives and ensuring that the supporting evidence is correctly filed within the submission folders
- Maintain all administration processes for New Module Development, such as ensuring new module guides are complete and available as per the stipulated deadlines via the administration process
- Maintain all administration processes for Existing Programmes, such as accurately compiling and timeously implementing amendments to Curriculum Structures and Programme Information Sheets, supporting the department with the administration of module reviews (both internal and external), and ensuring module guides are of a high-quality standard via the processes of module guide review and module guide updating
- Source Independent Contractors for the Curriculum Department projects
- Source and manage Prescribed Textbooks for New Programme Development, New Module Development and Existing Programmes projects
- Schedule, coordinate, and prepare minutes for Committee Meetings
- Formatting of Module Guides, Programme Information Sheets, and Curriculum Structures
- Accurate filing of Curriculum Department documentation
Minimum requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· Essential Qualification: Minimum Diploma or Degree related qualification
· Preferred Qualification: Minimum Degree or related qualification
EXPERIENCE
· Essential experience: At least 1-2 year(s) relevant higher education work experience, and experience with minute taking and administration
· Preferred experience: At least 1-2 year’s higher education work experience, and understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance
