CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- · Design and produce high-quality graphics for print and digital media; including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, reports and presentations.
- · Collaborate with the Employability team to understand the goals and objectives, translating them into effective visual communication.
- · Develop branding and visual identity for employability initiatives, ensuring consistency across all materials.
- · Stay updated on design trends and best practices to ensure innovative and engaging design solutions.
- · Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- · Assist in the creation and maintenance of templates for reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
- · Conduct reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with final products.
Minimum requirements
QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting
· Proficiency in design software, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools
· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with a focus on branding, print, and digital media
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling designs
· Familiarity with the principles of marketing and communication is advantageous
