Responsible for developing visually engaging materials, aligned to internal branding and marketing guidelines, that promote Employability programmes, resources and initiatives. Collaborate with various teams to create impactful designs that enhance communication and outreach efforts.
Job description

  • CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

    • ·     Design and produce high-quality graphics for print and digital media; including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, reports and presentations.
    • ·        Collaborate with the Employability team to understand the goals and objectives, translating them into effective visual communication.
    • ·        Develop branding and visual identity for employability initiatives, ensuring consistency across all materials.
    • ·        Stay updated on design trends and best practices to ensure innovative and engaging design solutions.
    • ·        Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
    • ·        Assist in the creation and maintenance of templates for reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
    • ·        Conduct reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with final products.

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATION

·        Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

·        Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting

·        Proficiency in design software, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools

·        Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with a focus on branding, print, and digital media

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

·        Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling designs

·        Familiarity with the principles of marketing and communication is advantageous
