ACADEMIC: SCHOOL OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

 CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

This role involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure student success and the academic excellence of the programmes across the school within the field of Supply Chain Management and or Logistics and Transportation. The coordinator will also contribute to broader school initiatives that support student growth and institutional development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessments
  • Academic Delivery
  • Curriculum
  • Module coordination
  • Supervision and Research
  • Student Learning Experience and Community engagement

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Essential Master’s degree specializing in Transportation and Logistics Management (NQF Level 9) or related field in Supply Chain Management
  • Preferred: Phd in Transportation and Logistics Management or a related field (NQF Level 10).

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in higher education/academia.
  • Demonstrated high-quality academic knowledge in Transportation, Logistics Management and or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficient in supporting and cooperating, organizing, and coordinating within the academic environment.
  • Strong digital literacy and adaptability to the evolving education spectrum.
  • Experience in reporting and analysis.

 

ADVANTAGES:

  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in Transportation and Logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Learner Management System administration/coordination.

 

GENERAL:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate academic acumen and provide relevant expertise within the scope of Transportation, Logistics Management and or Supply Chain Management.
