Job description

CORE FUNCTIONS 

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing of the functional requirements of the current systems and all Integration systems 
  • Review & Inspect functional requirements 
  • Write test cases in line with standard requirements from specification received 
  • Provide training/support to system administrators for all applications and services developed and maintained 
  • Update relevant documentation that has gone out-of-date 
  • Work with system administrators to ensure the quality of delivered software as well as ensuring timely bug resolution 
  • Documentation of UAT test scenarios, test cases and test scripts 
  • Implement test cases in line with requirements in specification 
  • Design test plan in accordance with specification documents 
  • Document test plan  
  • Create and/or acquire test data 
  • Identification and analysis of software defects 
  • Perform the required defect tracking and/or management thereof 
  • Ensure all risks are mitigated and escalated accordingly. 
  • Report to the Project Manager - results, test metrics etc. 
  • Test Summary Report; Defect Report according to bugs logged on Incident reporting platform 
  • In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidate will be required to assist in the delivery of reporting on the testing results

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • National Certification in IT or Business Management qualification
  • Project Management certification – Advantageous
 

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management roles or related fields.
