Job description

CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE MANAGING THE FOLLOWING:
 
Administration
·      Maintain tracking schedules for staff development and training
·      Maintain tracking schedules of staff attendance
·      Maintain tracking schedules for the printing of module guides
·      Maintain tracking schedules for module layout
·      Maintain Prescribed Textbooks and Recommended Readings Lists
·      Assist with module and programme reviews for existing programmes in line with the institution’s vision and mission
·      Assist with compiling and managing Programme Information Sheets and Curriculum Structures
·      Ordering of stationery
·      Ensure all necessary documentation is filed timeously
 
Meetings
·      Maintain meeting schedules, book meeting venues and inform the relevant stakeholders regarding attendance
·      Attend and execute minute taking for the Curriculum Committee, Programme Design, Development and Review committee. Programme Advisory Committee meetings and other meetings as and when required
 
Formatting of all Module Guides and Programme Information Sheets
·      Perform all formatting and layout editing on new and old Module Guides
·      Check and sign off on study material sent to the printers
·      Digitising module guides into Multimedia Guides
·      Maintaining presentation quality and consistency of all Module Guides and Programme Information Sheets
·      Adhering to production deadline
 
Regulatory Bodies
·    Prepare for and ensure attendance at any site visits relating to the academic programmes
 
General
·      Adhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasks
·      Assist and attend institution functions as and when required
·      Fulfil any other reasonable request from Management Assist with graduation
 
Professional Development
·    Engage in ongoing professional development by independently studying to upgrade knowledge field of expertise

Minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience
·      Minimum 1 Year Experience
·      Minimum Diploma in Administration or related qualification
·      Experience with minute taking and filing
