MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available: The core purpose of position is to provide support and assistance to the Curriculum Development and Management Department by assisting with the various processes and administration wrt new programme development, professional body accreditation and responses to regulatory bodies within the department to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.
Job description

CORE FUNCTIONS

Administration
  • Administer New Programme Development  
  • Update and maintain the folder for New Programme Development Submissions
  • Update and maintain the New Programme Development Tracker
  • Sourcing of new programme developers, reviewers and industry experts
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of New Programme Development
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of Professional Body Accreditation applications
  • Liaise with internal and external academics and departments
  • Provide administrative support to the Curriculum Development and Management Department
  • Keep records, tracking and filing
  • Attend to ad hoc office duties

Regulatory Bodies
  •  Assist with the coordination and administration of site visits and Institutional audits
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of responses to the CHE and SAQA
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance for matters related to curriculum
 
Meetings
  • Maintain meeting schedules, book meeting venues and inform the relevant stakeholders regarding attendance
  • Attend and execute minute taking for the Curriculum Committee, Programme Design, Development and Review committee. Programme Advisory Committee meetings and other meetings as and when required
 
General
  • Adhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasks
  • Assist and attend institution functions as and when required
  • Fulfil any other reasonable request from Management
 
Professional Development
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by independently studying to upgrade knowledge field of expertise

Minimum requirements

  •  Minimum Degree
  • At least 1-2 years higher education work experience.
  • Understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance
